No, no one can tell by simply looking at menu, this Chinese Food belongs to this specific region or it is originated at that particular region. This is because the Food recipes of Chinese are very complex and it contains several ingredients, like and some restaurants could tell their secret ingredients to any other persons.
The Chinese restaurants in the United States (U.S.) follow the Cantonese style or Yue cuisine, which originates from Guangdong. In this style the Food preparation and taste is much more like European foods and not taste like pure Chinese, so in U.S. most of restaurants follow Yue cuisine.

What are the basic tenets of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism? How might these religions influence Asian food culture?
The Asian Food culture is very complex and it depends on several factors and it varies from place to place and religion to religion. The basic tenants of Confucianism or Ruism are sociopolitical and philosophical teachings. This religion had prevailed during Han's period in Hans's dynasty.
People used to give their Food to God ancestors as a sacrifice. According to Buddhism people should only consume Plant Food (vegetarian), this religion do not support killing of animals for the purpose of Food. Taoism is also a Chinese philosophical religion, and this religion supports the sacrifices. So, some religions made Asians as non-vegetarians and some say to take vegetarian Food.
