Your manager has asked you to provide suggestions from your department with regard to the company's policy on flex time. These suggestions will be taken seriously and have a strong chance of being adopted. You are in a position to call a meeting of key people in your department to discuss the issue.

Flextime is a variable work schedule, which allows employee to work in other than traditional work arrangement. In the present case, manager has asked the suggestions on company's policy on flex time. Two of the most vocal members of the department have diametrically opposed position on flex time. In this case, the members should be asked to put their views by communicating the benefits of flex time to them. Once the majority understands the concern behind this flex time and votes in favor, it is to be forwarded to the manager. The one member who is out of office should also be told about it and explain why it is necessary for the growth of the company and how beneficial it is for employees as well.
