Do you believe most older people will gradually become senile? If you answered yes, does this belief affect how you relate to an older person?

Answer 1

Age is just number as per my opinion but this fact cannot be denied that people with age become forgetful and this affects their ability of remembering things and events and making decisions. Old age is similar to childhood where the children and old people do not have much responsibilities and their brain too works on a smaller pace and they work as per their body asks them to.
Thus I believe that older people will gradually become senile and this is the reason one cannot expect them to have good memory and energy to deliver the daily responsibilities. I deal with older people with little distance maintaining respect for them and having respect for myself too. I do not expect much work from them but their knowledge and experience is priceless.

Question 2

Should older people be sexually active?

Answer 2

Sexual activity is all about one's personal decision. As long as partners in a relationship are interested and ready to have sexual activity, they should definitely go for it and derive their own pleasures in the same.
Thus I believe that older people should also be sexually active if they have the partner who is also ready for the same. Because sometimes what happens is that due to age related problems and diseases, there is no energy and interest left in older people to have sexual activity and thus with time and age they stop having sexual intercourse. But if old age partners are interested and are energetic to have sex, they should have it regularly to keep themselves glowing and having a fulfilling and satisfying relationship with each other.

Question 3

If it were possible, would you want to know the year in which you will die?

Answer 3

Death is the only truth that we all individuals and living things have to face in future. One day everyone has to die and one must be ready for it. Sooner or later everyone of us have to leave this world an die and take form of some other living being and live with that life and form.
As per my thinking, if it were possible, I would not want to know the year in which I will die because it will unnecessarily create tension and stress in my present time. I believe one must live in a way that this day is the last day of his life. This thought makes an individual to live fulfilling and long life and in present without any tension for future and resentments from past. It is saying that one must strive to add life in his years of living rather than adding years to his life.
