You have the strong feeling that your supervisor, who is the same gender as you, gives opposite gender supervisees preferential treatment. For instance, s/he acts friendlier and more casual with them, directs more comments and questions to them during meetings, and seems to give them preference for their vacation choices. You also have heard they're getting higher raises though you feel your own work performance is at least as good as, or better than, their work performance.
