How would you say Pearl's strengths differ from those of Modern Shed's founder, Ryan Smith? How do you think the two management styles might complement each other?
Explanation
MS Company is based on the business of building small and large structured sheds with modern features for offices, guesthouses, etc. The company did not hold its own marketing and sales department to promote the product, as the sales of the product was completely through websites. In order to gain new market and expand its business the Company decided to outsource the firm's marketing plan to a consultant SP.
The founder of MS Company, RS strengths differ to that of SP who was hired for planning marketing and sales. RS was having a vision, of shed being a resource for mass-production of the company. He believed in the step-by-step process and wanted to go small and reach big.
On the other end, SP who was hired for the progress of MS Company, has ability to prioritize the work. SP liked prioritizing and targeting the customers to progress in both personal and company's goals. He was focusing on big shots, rather focusing on the basic resource of the company.
As both of them have a unique style of management, they both together can progress the company to greater heights. Here, the foundation was well laid by RS, and the plan was well guided by SP. Even though SP lacks in focusing on long-term goals for the organization, he can be guided by RS.
