Create remainder statements for all patients with last names beginning with the letters H through S. Note: Be sure to enter SYZMAM instead of just S to select all patients whose last names begin with the letter S.
Date: October 29, 2010
1. Change the Medisoft Program Date to October 29, 2010. Select Statement Management on the Activities menu. The Statement Management dialog box appears. Verify that the Sort By Field is set to Statement Number.
2. Click the Create Statements button. The Create Statements dialog box is displayed.
3. Enter the chart numbers that will select all patients with last names beginning with H through S. Note that you will need to select Michael Syzmanski in the second Chart Numbers field to include all patients with last names beginning with the letter "S."
4. Be sure the Statement Type field is set to Remainder. If it is not, click the Remainder button. Click the Create button to generate statements.
5. A message appears stating the number of statements that have been created. Click the OK button. Any new statements that were created are added to the list of statements in the Statement Management dialog box, with a Ready to Send status.
