A young boy was at the playground when he felt a sharp pain on his leg. Upon inspection, his mother realized he was stung by a bee. They went home and she carefully removed the stinger and washed the site well. Within a week, the site became swollen and painful; a red line appeared at the site, trailing up his leg.
