Teresa Miller is responsible for demand planning at BIOCNG Enterprises. As part of [ her planning activities, she must develop a demand forecast for the next four quarters. She I will then use her demand forecast to plan and manage the company's production schedules. Teresa has the following historical demand (sales) figures available to her. She will have to present her demand analysis and forecast to the company's planning team. Consequently she will want to have both graphical and table summaries of her findings, together with some measure of forecast accuracy.
Question
1. Your role is to provide assistance to Teresa and help her prepare a forecast for the next four quarters (quarters 3 and 4 of 2015 and quarters 1 and 2 of 2016). As a part of the analysis, your report should identify an appropriate forecasting technique, develop a forecasting model, use the forecasting model to generate forecasts for the historical quarters as well as for the planning quarters, and provide an assessment of the forecasting model's accuracy.
