Case synopsis:
The case deals about the crime rate in the country. It is noted that the crime rates in the country has been reduced at an enormous rate when compared to the past. It is difficult to make comparisons of crime rate from country to country as an act may be considered as illegal in country and some other country may make it legal. However, there are agencies to collect information regarding the crime rates of every country.
It is the duty of every individual to take care of oneself when they go out. They must use the best security to protect themselves from the dangerous world. The people must be careful on crimes such as homicide, rape, robbery, burglary, theft of vehicles, gun crimes, and child abuse.
Determine if the social problems can be alleviated:
The current social problems of the youth population are found to be rapid social change, economic inequalities, and usage of drugs, alcohols, and firearms.
This can be alleviated with the help of the government. Although it cannot be totally removed, steps can be taken to reduce it. The behavior of the society changes only when they learn from the people of other country. Hence, the social change can be reduced if other individuals are lessened in the entry of the country.
The economic inequalities make a person to feel himself low when compared to others. Hence, they are involved in stealing money and other precious things which they do not possess.
The government must take steps in licensing the firearms. If any individual is found with a gun without a license, then they must be strictly punished. The alcohol usage by the people must be reduced by increasing the price of the drinks heavily.
