Change in the Airline Industry
Many organizations have had to change the way they do business since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The airline industry has certainly been one of the most affected industries. Your instructor will divide the class into groups of four to six students per group. Once the groups have been formed, each group should respond to the following:
1. Identify what major changes have been implemented by or in the airline industry since September 11, 2001.
2. Does your group feel that these changes are positive or negative for the flying public? For airline employees?
3. Why does the group feel that these changes were not implemented before the tragic events took place?
After each group has answered the above questions, your instructor will ask each group to share their answers with the class.
