We perceive real motion when we see things that are physically moving, such as cars on the road and people on the sidewalk. But we also see motion on TV, in movies, on our computer screens, and in electronic displays such as those in Las Vegas or Times Square. How are images presented in these situations in order to result in the perception of motion? (This may require some research.)
