Was it ethical for Dr. Itard and the others to remove Victor from the wild against his will?
Explanation
As per the mentioned case it is stated that Victor who was born in the year 1800 was deprived of care and human civilization like others normally do. Victor was abandoned by his parents intentionally or unintentionally that led him to lead a life like an animal feeding over fruits and vegetables, raw uncooked food, he was not trained to speak, he only used to utter some music or sounds. When he encountered human beings, he was sent to Paris to where Dr. Itard treated him and was making experiments with him to know his abnormal and not so humanistic conditions.
Now to answer the question given in the case it could be said that as per my opinion, it was not so ethical for Dr. and the others to remove that child from the wild against his will because the nature and the environment in which that child was bought up were completely alien the way human beings live and survive. He was naturally trained to lead a life of wild jungle. Removing him from his this natural life also decreased his life span as he died quiet early in his forties. Thus it was unethical to remove that child from his life and environment.
