Child maltreatment is one of the major issues that are to be dealt carefully in present times. When child maltreatment is suspected, children should not be allowed to remain in their own home. Because this way the maltreatment towards children is nurtured and given confidence to continue which is a very wrong message that is given to the people involved in this maltreatment.
The risk that is associated with child maltreatment is of many levels. When a child is not able to survive or the maltreatment that occurs with a child becomes fatal, then it could be regarded as too much of risk. The risks that are associated with removing a child from his home is that firstly the protection and care of that child has to be the priority. Secondly there has to be proper resolution in the law towards the future prospects for these children.
