One's interest to form or lead a group will depend on the person's own trait and interests.
Most leaders like to form and lead a task group which is also known as task facilitation group, as this type of group is often formed to achieve a particular objective or task and that poses a challenge to leaders. In task groups the leader forms the group and leads it until the tasks are accomplished. It also comprises of task teams, planning committee and other community organizations working together for a common cause. Various trainings and other counselling sessions are organized to better equip the group members. Though, the main focus remains to finish the work as soon as possible.
