Your company, Florodex, intends to contract with a systems consulting firm to develop a new database system. You are responsible for explaining to the consulting firm exactly what your company needs the system to do. However, you have very little understanding of database systems and think you should know more before you talk with the consultants. You have received a brochure that announces a two-day database overview seminar to be given by the local university and think it would be worthwhile to attend.
Write an email to your boss, Peter Tolan, requesting that your company send you to the seminar. Invent any facts you think necessary. You may decide to attach a copy of the brochure to your email.
