Basic beliefs within my environmental worldview are:
•The resources in the environment are for all forms of life including humans.
•It is the responsibility of humans to make optimal utilization of the resources and not to overexploit them.
•It is our moral duty to take care of the environment we live in and not to pollute it.
•To make a sustainable living and to create a sustainable future for the coming generations, humans should look out for alternative and green sources of energy like solar, wind, geothermal and so on.
My environmental worldview has not changed. The beliefs included in my environmental worldview are consistent with the answers I gave to Question 7.
Yes, my actions that affect the environment are consistent with my environment worldview.
I minimize the use of water at home and around me so that there is optimal utilization of water resource without any wastage. This is because most of the population in the world is suffering with scarcity of freshwater. Further, I have solar panels installed in my house that take care of water heating and regulating the room temperatures. This reduces the usage of non-renewable resources (coal) that are used for generating electricity.
I also buy organic, locally grown products so that the biodiversity is not affected. And also I recycle and compost the kitchen wastes to form organic manure, which I use for my garden. This ensures nutrient recycling.
