To summarize the possibility of a more sustainable world by the year 2065, a person would have to work at decreasing their carbon footprint. A sustainable world by 2065 would consist of the species loss and the degradation of land slowing down considerably.
The atmosphere and the bodies of water (lakes, rivers and oceans) would be cleaner. Practically 80% of solid wastes would be recycled and energy waste would possibly be cut in half if everyone worked at preserving the environment.
The farms would be more sustainable and therefore would be able to conserve water and protect the earth's topsoil from eroding. The human population would have been declining for a few years which in turn created less stress on the earth's life support system.
Creating less of an impact is important in maintaining an environment for future generations. If everyone made a conscious effort in their own lives to protect their corner of the planet, it is possible to slow the destruction and even improve the planets' condition by the year 2065.
