CHRIS: I need you to get a metal plate ready for the Stern job.
SANDY: OK.
CHRIS: I need a ¾-inch plate. I want a ½-inch hole a little off center. No, you better make it 5?8. In the left corner I need about a 3?8 -inch hole. And on the right top portion, about 7?8 of an inch from the left side, drill a ¼-inch hole. You got it?
SANDY: I think so.
CHRIS: Good, I'll be back later.

CHRIS: Do you have the plate ready?
SANDY: It's right here.
CHRIS: This isn't what I asked for. I said a ½-inch hole a little off center; this is too much off center. Do it again so it will fit.
SANDY: You're the boss. I'll do it again.
