June is thinking about going to law school and, after graduation and passing the state bar, she hopes to practice law. While in law school, she knows she will complete an internship, hopefully with the state's district attorney's office, and she eventually wants to practice criminal law. As a criminal lawyer she is wondering how she can gain experience, make enough money, and defend the rights of lower income clients. On the other hand, she would eventually like to become a trial judge in a state court. What are the avenues she may pursue?
