Do you consider being an unauthorized immigrant a form of workplace diversity? How is it similar to and different from other kinds of workplace diversity discussed in this chapter?

Many companies in Country U were hiring unauthorized immigrants. Companies hired undocumented immigrants to reduce the labor cost. The government initiated an enquiry into the matter. The government officials inspected the workforce of Company C and found that it was employing many unauthorized immigrants.
The government of President G identified unauthorized immigrant workers and deported them to their home country. The government of President O instructed companies to conduct inspection before the recruitment. As per the directions of the government, Company C took precautionary measures in recruiting its workforce.
Determine whether the work of unauthorized immigrants is a sign of workforce diversity:
The work of unauthorized immigrants is a sign of workforce diversity because immigrants incorporate different human characteristics.
Similarities between the work of unauthorized immigrants and workforce diversity:
There is a similarity between the work of unauthorized immigrants and workforce diversity. The immigrant workforce differs in ethnicity, race, intellect, language, perception, ideology, and communication.
Differences between the work of unauthorized immigrants and workforce diversity:
Workforce diversity brings in innovation. The management of diversified workforce will increase productivity and promotes creativity. The recruitment of unauthorized immigrants does not affect productivity or business decisions of the company. It is because the immigrant workers are low-level workers who have no say in the management of the company.
Conclusion:

• The government may cancel the license of such companies.
• It will affect the goodwill of the company.
• Sudden deportation of illegal immigrants as per the government orders will affect the production of the company.
Conclusion:
Many companies in Country U were hiring unauthorized immigrants. Companies hired undocumented immigrants to reduce the labor cost. They can increase their profit by hiring illegal immigrants at a cheaper cost. Companies will face the risk of government intervention, if they hire unauthorized immigrants.

• It will hurt the sentiments of investors, if their company is caught in such accusations.
Conclusion:
Many companies in Country U were hiring unauthorized immigrants. Companies hired undocumented immigrants to reduce the labor cost. If the company hires unauthorized immigrants, it helps these immigrants to lead their life. It will hurt the sentiments of investors, if the government accuses the company for hiring illegal immigrants.
