Exercise 23

Complete the Account tab for Hiro Tanaka. The information needed to complete this exercise is found on Source Document 1.
Date: October 4, 2010
1. Confirm that Hiro Tanaka is still listed in the Patient List dialog box and that the Case radio button is selected.
2. Click the Edit Case button to add information to Tanaka's case file. The Case dialog is displayed, with the Personal tab active.
3. Make the Account tab active. The word Account should now be displayed in boldface type, and the boxes on the Account tab should be visible.
4. Notice that the Assigned Provider box is already filled in with the name of Tanaka's assigned provider, Katherine Yan. The system copies this information from data stored in the Patient/ Guarantor dialog box.
5. Click the name of Tanaka's referring provider on the Referring Provider drop-down list. Press Tab.
6. Accept the default entry of "A" in the Price Code box.
7. Check your work for accuracy.
8. Save the changes. The Patient List dialog box is redisplayed.
9. Do not close the Patient List dialog box.
