Search the term fracking and find information on the use of fracking to produce oil and natural gas from shale rock in the United States. Try to answer the following questions: (1) In what areas are fracking for either fuel on the rise? (2) In one area of your choice, how many fracking wells have been drilled in the past year? (3) In that area, how much fuel has been produced in the past year? (4) In that area, has there been any opposition to the use of fracking? (5) Has the opposition, if any, resulted in any changes to the process or to regulations over the process? (6) Is fracking projected to continue in your chosen area, and to what extent? Write a report on your findings.
