You are in the cafeteria at lunch and overhear some other students talking. They have recently found out that approximately 60% of the Canadian population has a body weight above the healthy range. One of the students comments that they don't understand why so many people are overweight or obese. They state that the problem is simply that people are too lazy to diet and exercise. Consider the factors that affect body weight. Do you agree with their comment? Explain why or why not.
