Finally, a confidential informant was able tosupply some credible information tosome Seattle detectives that may finally bring this gang leader tojustice. Based on the information provided by the CI, the police acquire a search warrant for an abandoned warehouse on the south side of the city. At 3:00 am the following morning, both the Seattle SWAT Team and a slew of detectives raid the warehouse tofind a large quantity of both drugs and illegal firearms. However, there are noindividuals there, including the main suspect. After clearing the building, and walking outside, a detective saw at least three men looking out a bedroom window of a house across the street from the warehouse. Based on a hunch, the detective ordered the SWAT Team tobreak down the door-and when doing so, nabbed the main suspect, along with twoother known gang members. The case now ends up on your desk, and you have concerns regarding the actions of the SWAT Team and the detectives regarding the entering of the home across the street, without a warrant.
