As the chief correctional parole officer in your maximum security prison, you are tasked with working with inmates whoare eligible for parole. Recently, a unique case has presented itself for an inmate whohas been rejected for parole four times over the past fifteen years. He was originally convicted of aggravated robbery and voluntary manslaughter related toa bank robbery. During the process of the robbery, he shot and killed a bank teller-a 31-year old woman whowas married with three children. He has now completed 80% of his twenty year sentence. Additionally, he has been recently diagnosed with terminal stage four lung cancer, and his health is declining quickly.
