Here is a study modeled after that of John B. Watson (1907). Three groups of rats were taught a complicated maze. Afterward the rats relearned the maze. For one group, sight was eliminated (they were run in the dark). For a second group, their vibrissae were removed. For a third group the maze was rotated on its table.
