The Answer is Anecdotal records are brief, written descriptions of an incident or something that stands out about a child. They can be recorded as the action happens or afterward based on reflection. Running record observations are a blow-by-blow description of events in a particular observation period. They are compiled by keeping brief notes of observations and then writing these up as soon as possible after the observation period. In incident reports (or event sampling), one captures everything that happens before, during, and after a particular incident of interest. This method is helpful in recognizing patterns.
