You are at a school board meeting, and the topic of school violence comes up. One of the parents states that violence doesn't exist in the schools and that everybody is exaggerating. Another parent states that children should fear for their lives every day they are at school. It is your job to present an accurate picture of the nature and scope of school violence. What would you say to clarify this matter? You may want to refer to the research findings from the study of school shootings.
