What Would You Do?
Of the 11 applicants for the three open positions, two of these applicants were disqualified for failing the physical fitness test, and two others failed the medical exam, one of them for testing positive for drugs. Of the seven remaining candidates, five were white males; one was a black male; and the final candidate was an Asian female. After further screening and in comparing the applicants' resumes, the offer for two of the open positions was made to one of the white males and to the black male, both of whom accepted. Two of the other white male candidates are good options and have more years of experience than the Asian female.
