The 1920s was considered a decade of prosperity. Without a doubt, the postwar period was a time of great economic growth for the nation as a whole. All U.S. residents, however, did not enjoy the same prosperity as did the more-visible middle class. Describe Americans for whom the twenties was a time of both frustration as well as pleasure.
