John Butler is a skilled and charismatic teacher of high-school chemistry.He sees himself as a proponent of the constructivist theory of learning,while having elements of social cognitive views of learning reflected in some of his teaching strategies.The make-up of this year's class poses some problems for Mr.Butler in that approximately half the class has a strong background in science while the other half has a weak background.
-Ms.Beck,the teacher in the adjacent room,complained that the noise in Mr.Hutch's class (during the group exercises)is too loud and very distracting.If you were Mr.Hutch,how would you handle this situation?
