Kelsey and Kyle are middle school students.Kelsey lost her vision as a newborn when she was administered excessive concentrations of oxygen to prevent brain damage.Although she can detect light,she is unable to use sight for learning.Kyle has myopia that is partially corrected by glasses.In fourth grade,his vision began to deteriorate due to retinitis pigmentosa.With glasses,his vision is 20/100 with a field that subtends an angular distance of 15 degrees.
