However, members of religions like the Amish, Seventh-Day Adventists, and Jehovah's Witnesses have experienced prejudice and discrimination because of their religious affiliation. Jews have also been discriminated against; the history of anti-Semitism is long in both the world and the U.S. While anti-Semitism has been declining in America, issues such as increased Jewish support of Israel and the identification of Jews as part of the white oppression facing blacks cause some Jews to believe that anti-Semitism is increasing. Muslims also face religious discrimination and prejudice in the U.S. This prejudice stems from the fact that some Americans make the incorrect generalization that since some terrorists are Islamic and that Islam is the religion of Muslims, then all Muslims are terrorists.
