FOCUS offers numerous suggestions about what to do before, during and after a test. Construct a plan to prepare for an upcoming test using at least five of the listed suggestions.
The plan should include at least five of the following:
• Begin preparing for an exam on the first day of class.
• Identify the days and times of all your exams for the whole term in your planner, cell
phone, online calendar, or PDA
• Find out exactly what the test will cover.
• Understand that specific types of preparation are required for specific types of tests.
• Make a study schedule.
• Begin serious reviewing several days before the test.
• Maximize your memory.
• Get everything ready the night before.
• Manage your energy.
• Don't give in to nonproductive, negative attitude.
• Study with other students.
