In a competitive business environment, an effective organization utilizes carefully designed strategic plans in order to create and sustain its competitive advantages and profit position. Strategic plans are the battle plans that enable an organization to accomplish their objectives. By implementing these plans, organizations are able to better place their products or services in the market.
